Frankly, i don't really like meeting Juss. His appearance causes the disappearance of my 128 pounds. Since the first time he brought his cute little niece here, i feel that the money for the room rent has been paid back..
Finally it has come. I have bought it online for ages and i just received it today. Erm.. the album is a bit more to pop .. as a big fan of her i realized that the music composition has been slightly changed.. The vocal used to be 'chaos' in the verse , chorus etc.. but it's quite 'tidy' in this album. Anyway, she still maintained her uniqueness.. The difference is not that obvious as previous. For the concept and idea, i am still figuring out.. cheers!
Sainkho Namtchylak is a wanderer between the worlds (as a german idiom would describe it). She was a member of the national ensemble of Tuva, left the remote republic in the south of Siberia and lived in Moscow. There she met jazz musicians and started a new career in the west. She lived in Vienna, Berlin and Moscow, but she never forgot her homecountry. Every year she invited western musicians to perform in Kyzyl and to learn about her country, her culture and her music.
' Stepmother '(2001) is one of my favorite album recently.. I really love her throat singing or Khoonmei (呼麥)... She is an experimental singer and has turned 50! Her music enmeshes avant-jazz, electronica, modern composition and Tuvan influences.
